About the System:This system was installed as a fill-in for the loss of UHF coverage in the North Sacramento Valley due to the PAVE PAWS radar system @ Beale AFB. The system is only transmitting 5 Watts and favors a pattern towards the NW and a null towards Sonora.

CARLA 36 is numbered as such because it is located at CARLA 6's site and was meant to be a easy reminder where the system is located.

This system covers all of the North Sacramento Valley from Redding to the North to most of Sacramento to the South and the foothills to the East. It has a directional pattern favoring the North-West to minimize co-channel interference to the South-East, where it has a null.
