A four person contingency from several RRFT's (Rapid Response Field Team) made it to CARLA 4's
site above Greenfield, CA. Saturday to make repairs to the southbound link feeding CARLA 29, 30
&31 that failed a couple of weeks prior causing only NB traffic to pass from Southern CA.
Additionally, Controller firmware updates were made as well as some remote voltage logic inputs
installed to check various DC voltages at the site. Some tower work was also performed. The
primary power supply that was inserting ac hum into audio paths was finally replaced too. However,
something went south with the replacement power supply so we had to de-install it and revert to
battery back-up power with the battery charger keeping things on-line.
Another trip is in store to replace the power supply, yet again...
